Clark, fresh off breaking the WNBA record for most assists in a rookie season, scored 23 points, marking her 13th game with at least 20 points this season. However, the Lynx were sharp from beyond the arc, hitting 11 three-pointers, including six in the first quarter.
This was Clark’s first defeat in Minnesota since her college days, ending a perfect 10-0 streak in the state.
The Fever struggled early, going 0-for-7 from three-point range in the first quarter while Clark was just 1-for-8 from the field. But in the second quarter, Indiana rallied with a 21-9 run, featuring a clutch Clark three-pointer to close the gap.
Despite a strong push, Indiana couldn’t overcome a third-quarter surge from the Lynx, who led by as many as 15 points. Napheesa Collier led Minnesota with 31 points, securing the win and snapping Clarkâs impressive streak.”
